you're telling me i had this the whole time?

Reader -
10k steps a day is my new personality.
I don’t know when this happened. One day I was minding my own business and the next I was power walking laps at the track while voice noting my to do list.
Outside, I've been hitting the pavement in my Blundstones. Which, if you live in a winter city, you know is a mildly problematic choice.
There have been close calls and ice. There has been a moment where I almost slid on my ass while answering a Slack message.
I told myself my reward for 10k steps a day in Feb is that I get to buy new running shoes.
So naturally I’ve been talking footwear nonstop.
I'm discussing shoe drop with my friend in the hot pool at the Nordic spa. I'm explaining the magic that is working and walking on the track to my sister. And I'm talking grip with my parents over valentine's dinner at Petit Socco.
And my mom, very calmly, says:
“What about those hiking boots we bought you seventeen years ago?”
Omg. I had completely forgotten they existed.
So I crawl into my attic (technically a crawl space.) And I pull out these Vasque brown suede hiking boots that I got when I was thirteen.
I put them on.
They still fit.
Reader. They are life changing.
I’m literally walking as I dictate this and there is zero fear of slipping. I can just walk in a straight line with confidence.
The best part is I didn’t need to spend a penny for those boots.
They were already in my house, pre-broken in, and life changing.
Oh, that brings me to the point of today's email. You, too, can have a free, life changing experience when you join Cycle Oracle.
Learn what your chart is trying to tell you about your hormones, what's just noise in the chart, and when to seek support.
And because it’s in celebration of my 10 year FAMiversary, I’m also giving away a Tempdrop and a retired Feeling Luteal crewneck!
I bet you've already got everything you need, you just need to learn how to turn down the static aka learn what to ignore and what to pay attention to.
