january faves!

Reader -

I'm doing something new! In an effort to cheat on my newsletter content plan of writing an email every week for 2026, I'm doing a roundup of my FAVOURITE things on the last Monday of every month! Well friend, without further ado, here are my January faves! If you loved this, let me know!

How are we nearing FEB??

Becoming a batch cooking baddie: like you may have read in my knife episode, batching has become my new personality. I counted what we batched in the last 2 weeks, and we filled the freezer with EIGHTEEN meals.

I highly recommend cooking this vegetarian pot pie, this chickpea soup, this chili or this beef and barley soup and stocking up your freezer!

If you're like - idk if I can do this Nat - just remember that I don't have a dishwasher. You can do it I promise.

Harry Potter full cast audiobook: tomorrow can't come soon enough because that's the day my Audible subscription renews and I get a credit for the next book of the full cast edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I devoured the first one. It swept me back into Hogwarts with such good actors and production.

My DIY Brick: I cannot tell you how positive this has been for my creativity and comparison traps. When my phone is Bricked, I can't access apps that I decide to block until I tap my little device. Basically, you purchase an NFC tag and download the Foqos app. It's that easy. I just can't believe I waited this long.

Restocking: My fave water based lube is back in stock! Get it here (and save 10%!).

Authorship renaissance: I’m in a recalibration phase where creativity, time, and integrity are non negotiable. I’m no longer interested in producing more just to be more visible, or pushing work I wouldn’t want to read myself.

If something costs me my creativity, my time or my freedom, it's not worth it to me.

Reading: I loved Buckeye and The Girls who Grew Big. On a big fiction kick rn!

Listen: The Habit Cycle celebrating batch cooking and ovulation tracking

Read: The Ultimate Guide to Cervical Mucus with Photos got a huge upgrade!

Warmly,

Nat
